The School Supply Program grew in 2007 to include over two thousand kids. Due to a realignment of the grade schools in the Denver Public School System, 2008 will be a new exercise for Chuck’s Kids. Two of the schools that we have worked with for many years are closing and the kids are being assigned to other schools. Just how this will affect us is still unknown. With the economy in rather bad shape, our revenues down, and the growing need for help with school supplies, we are just going to have to play it close to the vest this year. Unfortunately, we may see several years of growth take a step back this year. And then again, good things seem to follow hard work and we are working hard to bring in more money so we can continue to grow this all-important program. These kids are the future and it is our goal to see them succeed in their educational endeavors and these school supplies help form the foundation to get that education.
